Female Issues at a glance

On my journey as the AMRIA brand owner, besides my personal development as an independent business woman, I focus on meeting my female customers, getting to know them a little more. To me, this is a real bonus of being an industry professional. Every client is a world in herself, a woman with a story. In the new corner "Female issues at a glance”, I will turn a spotlight on different clients in which they can tell about themselves.

Today, I am hosting Einat Lahav.

My name is Einat Lahav, I am 50 years old and I am a single mother of Arad, a 7 year old girl, we live in Ein HaYam.

Work

I have a bachelor's degree in education with specialization in dance. I studied at the kibbutz seminar. For many years, I taught all kinds of various fitness classes at Studio B. This is alongside my work at the Tamar House, a special education school, where I prepared students for the final exams, and I served as a social coordinator.

About a decade ago, I decided to change my professional life and started studying the field of cosmetics, which I am working in until this day. At present, I manage an independent clinic in the area of custom cosmetics. We engage in a variety of areas ranging from acne treatments, anti-aging skin rejuvenation, advanced treatments with equipment, beauty therapy.

Independence, Empowering Your Family

I became a parent at a relatively late age, my daughter Arad was born when I was 43. Long years of being a bachelorette allowed me professional and personal development. I worked, I learned, I traveled and enjoyed life. I entered into parenting as a very ripe and ready person. I don't feel like I missed out on or gave up on something that I wanted to do.

I enjoyed my life’s path, but am not sure it would be right for everyone.

What insights did you gain with age?

I think over the years I have gotten to know myself more accurately, which allowed me to be precise in my choices, also regarding my professional life. At work, it took me a while to get to this place. In practice, I am in a completely different field than I was in during my youth. In the cosmetics field, too, it took me a while to find and specialize in my niche.

With age, it feels like I reduced the holes in a colander. I used to respond to anything without restraint, was more emotional, more fiery. Today I am more thoughtful, calm.

Over the years I learned to clearly distinguish between important and negligeable. I don't waste time and energies for unimportant people or things.

I want to live the most joyful life possible. Still working on that… Arad reminds me many times to smile. I don't smile enough.

Dealing with difficulties

I don't respond straight away. I breathe deeply, I digest, then share with a good friend. I have one who came into my life late, we met during studying cosmetics, and since then we have been walking through life together.

Fashion and shopping?

This is an area that I have really matured in during recent years. My taste has become more accurate and cleaner, less scrambled and classic.

I really like fashion and my involvement in aesthetics clearly points to that. I buy little online and prefer to measure and feel the fabric. In the past, I sewed and even studied interior design.

Why did you purchase AMRIA shoes?

I really like the design, it gives a twist to my daily wear. I feel it upgrades any attire, and that is something I am looking for, without appearing too lady-like. For me, the shoes upgrade my performance. I notice everything, especially the small details (for better or for worse), and I am crazy about the perfect finishes of AMRIA shoes.
